About Oxyhemoglobin
Oxyhemoglobin is the form of hemoglobin that contains oxygen molecules. Hemoglobin is a protein molecule that binds to oxygen. Hemoglobin forms an unstable, reversible bond with oxygen. In its oxygen-loaded form, it is called oxyhemoglobin and is bright red.
